Welcome. Does your child have a physical challenge that is interfering with his/her development? Would you welcome some of the benefits listed above? Having a child who is physically challenged whether temporary or permanent can be extremely stressful and overwhelming for the whole family. You as a parent may be dealing with stress and anxiety concerning your child’s future. You may also be experiencing depression, grief, guilt or sadness. At the same time you must search for and choose the best therapies and therapists for your child and manage their care. It’s a lot to deal with.
You have a lot of questions and don’t know what to expect. How can you know you are getting the best care possible for your special little one? Most likely you have researched all kinds of therapies and have begun searching for answers to the many questions you must have. What is best plan of action for you and your family? Where can you find the time and resources to take care of your family and yourself?
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can be an amazing resource for you and your family. It can teach you to find the support from within that both you and your child need to embark on the road to radiant health and maximum function. It can help to speed up the healing process for almost any condition and can also help develop healthy coping strategies for the whole family. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can help you, your child, and your family get more in touch with your body’s innate healing intelligence by empowering your body’s natural ability to heal itself. This process can set up a healthy dynamic that will support the whole family with ease!
In my holistic physical therapy practice I use Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy as a primary therapy. Other more traditional therapies such as neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) to facilitate movement, yoga for strength and flexibility (and fun!), and core strengthening are incorporated into the treatment plan as needed. Zero Balancing, another cutting edge body therapy, may also be used to enhance the healing process by bringing more alignment and stability to the skeletal system.
